Privacy Policy

GPS Location Camera Map · Effective 31 July 2026

Software Lab India (“we”, “our” or “us”) provides the GPS Location Camera Map mobile application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the camera, GPS stamping, sharing, account, advertising, subscription and forensic verification features.

Information we process

How information is used

We use information to create GPS-stamped photographs, identify the signed-in photographer, save and share photos at your request, register photo fingerprints, detect possible edits during forensic verification, operate subscriptions, show ads to free users, remove ads or unlock paid features for eligible users, prevent fraud, secure the service and improve reliability.

Service providers and sharing

Information is shared only as needed to provide the service or comply with law. Providers may include Google Play, Google Sign-In, Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Maps/Geocoding, Google AdMob, AI/forensic processing providers, and a payment provider such as Razorpay when that payment option is displayed. Photos submitted for forensic verification may be transmitted securely to our backend and an AI processing provider to analyse possible visual changes. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and retention

Photos saved to your device remain under your control. Registration records may retain account identifiers, coordinates, capture metadata, cryptographic hashes and other limited verification metadata for as long as needed to provide verification, prevent fraud, meet legal requirements or until deletion is requested where applicable. Original photo files are stored privately for 15 days after registration. Eligible paid recipients may download a matched original within that period. Access expires after 15 days and automatic storage deletion is scheduled at that age; the storage provider's background deletion can take additional time. Cloud deletion does not delete photos from your device gallery or copies already downloaded by recipients. Compact, lossy spatial/color descriptors, hashes and signed capture metadata remain for subsequent verification; they are derived verification data, not retained original image files. Descriptor matching has lower evidentiary detail than comparison with the original and does not guarantee detection of every edit. These derived records remain sensitive data and are covered by the account-linked deletion request process. Verification uploads are retained only as needed to process and secure the request.

Your choices

You can deny camera or location permission, but related features will not work. You can stop personalised advertising through Android/Google settings, cancel a subscription in Google Play, delete photos from your device, and request access or deletion of account-linked backend information through our account deletion page.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.

Security and policy changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated.
